My Realtor, Josh Emfield, recommended Ryan Herring, Paragon Inspections, to do a whole house inspection on a house I was buying in Cedar Hills, Utah. I lived out of state and had only seen the house one time. Ryan was able to schedule the inspection right away. He was very thorough and talked to me on the phone several times during the inspection. He let me know the areas of concern while he was onsite and was able to get an additional inspection of the roof with a drone. The drone revealed issues with the roof that would not have been uncovered if he had only done a visual inspection from ground level. My realtor was able to use the inspection to negotiate a lower price so I could put on a new roof. Ryan’s inspection report was received quickly, was very thorough and included many color photos. Since I lived out of state I wasn’t able to make any further inspections myself and needed to rely on the whole house inspection. I was able to make an informed decision on the purchase of the house based on his inspection. I’m now living in my new house (with a new roof) and thanks to Ryan there haven’t been any unwanted surprises in the condition of the house. I highly recommend Ryan Herring of Paragon Inspections.

"I recently contracted to buy a house. It had been a model home and had not been lived in, basically new, so I wasn't sure I needed a home inspection. I decided that for what I was paying I owed it to myself and wife to get an inspection. I called and spoke with Ryan and he spent time explaining what he would do. It was so far superior than the receptionists at other home inspections running through a list of items and looking at a website for what would be included and what was an extra service and charge. Ryan showed up early and was getting started. He took us aside and gave us an introductory briefing explaining what he would do.
